This barn is in excellent order with a new roof (done by
a French artisan roofer in 2006) with a window at the
rear and the front, pedestrian front door and barn
doors. It is
just off one of the roads into Adriers and therefore
does not have passing traffic, only that to the two or
three houses in the chemin. There is a barn next door
to the left (seen from the
front)owned by one of the house proprietors and to the
right, there is a small house owned by an old Frenchman which has already been
converted from the terrace end.
Electricity, telephone, water and mains drainage is just
outside at the front for easy connection. There is no
garden at the back (there is a broad strip of common land behind the barns) but
the grass at the front would make a small front garden.
This barn is in a beautiful and sought-after small
village with a school, swimming lake, local amenities
and post office, doctor and pharmacy etc. and would make
a wonderful holiday home or equally, an office (Adriers
has Broadband) or storage for furniture, vehicles etc.
The nearest large towns are Montmorillon and L'Isle
Jourdain. Poitiers and Limoges airports are equidistant
and take approximately one hour to each. |
